Fostering Impactful Collaborations with Russian Higher Education Institutions

Abstract
Russia-Thailand relations have been documented to date back to 1963. Despite the ongoing global geopolitical tensions, trade and cultural ties between the two nations remain strong. The trade value between Thailand and Russia amounted to 53.44 billion baht in 2023. In addition, more than 1 million Russian visits Thailand annually. In this session, notable impacts of educational collaborations between Russian Higher Education Institutions and Thammasat University, Thailand, will be highlighted. Critical steps in establishing relationships as well as details of collaborative activities will also be explained. The objective of this session is to share with the audience key success factors in fostering meaningful relationships with Russian Higher Education Institutions in order to promote sustainable collaborations.
