Abstract

Modern IT technologies make it possible to increase the interest of students in physics study, to bring this process closer to the natural: from observing real phenomena to their research and mathematical description. The digital textbook plays the main role in this case. The structure and form of multimedia interactive textbooks in physics for secondary and high schools (publishing house "Prosveshchenie", Moscow) are discussed in the presentation. The textbooks feature a large number of video fragments of physical demonstration experiments and simulations, a high level of interactivity, the use of various methods of increasing student activity and the development of skills of independent research activity. These textbooks are significantly different from electronic forms of textbooks. Presentation of new information is presented in the form of short lecture fragments (LF). The style of presentation of the material is close to the real lesson. During the LF, the student is asked small questions to stimulate his activity. Different forms of questions are used: video tasks, interactive simulations, text and graphic tasks. Each paragraph has additional tasks of three levels of difficulty. The methods of using the textbook by teachers and students are discussed. Particular attention is paid to the possibilities offered by the textbooks when organizing distance learning.
